At HSE, our aim is to simplify the skill development process and ensure coaches and clients can communicate at a time that suits them. We do this by allowing clients and coaches to submit Session Requests. 

When a request for a session is submitted by either a coach or client, either party can choose to accept or reject that request.

You can do this by logging into your account, clicking on your profile icon or the menu button, and selecting Sessions.

In the Calendar tab, you can find sessions listed like so:

Clicking on a listed session will allow you to choose whether to Accept the invite, adjust the session request, or Reject the invite. 

If you issued the request yourself, you’ll also see the option to Cancel that request. 

If the proposed session isn’t suitable for you, click Reject and confirm you want to Reject the request in the pop-up window. You can also adjust the time or date. 

If you need to cancel a session request, click on the Cancel option, and choose whether you want to cancel the session, or adjust the time slot. 

As a coach or client, whenever someone requests a session with you, an exclamation mark icon will appear next to your profile picture, at the top of the page, when you log into your account.

Clicking on this icon will open the Pending Actions sidebar, where you can adjust, accept, or reject the request. 

Note the HSE platform operates on an automatic cancellation system if requests are not accepted or rejected within a specific timeframe. 

  • When 24 hours remain before the session: Automatic cancellation will occur for a client 8 hours before the start time or 16 hours before the start time for a coach.
  • When 48 hours remain before the session: Automatic cancellation will occur for a client 16 hours before the start time or 32 hours before the start time for a coach.

When 3 to 7 days remain before the session: Automatic cancellation will occur for a client 24  hours before the start time or 48 hours before the start time for a coach.
